Transaction takes too long in Polygon network

Change RPC setting or increase GWEI setting to speed up your transaction

If you sometimes experience a long waiting time to make your transaction, there are few ways to try in Polygon setting. A Polygon network congestion could slow your transaction, change to Polygon(Matic) RPC aggregator node or increase your GWEI can dramatically help your situation.

Speed up to reduce waiting time
  1. Try to speed up your transaction by setting the GWEI price higher. You can click "Speed Up" and top on the GWEI that you are willing to pay. Meanwhile, you can just set the GWEI higher than the Metamask recommendation when you attempt to initiate a transaction.

2. You will be recommended to setup customize network in Metamask when you connect to Camel for the first time. You can also change RPC setting according to the official recommendation of Polygon. If a RPC server is too crowded, it normally will lead to a network congestion that slows transaction. Change a different RPC setting will help in this situation, and you can use polygon RPC setting or apply a dedicated RPC URL following the link from Polygon(MATIC).

Polygon RPC setting. Dedicated free RPC will be helpful if none of public RPC works.

3. To change RPC, please open MetaMask and select "settings" -> "networks" ->"Matic network", then replace the "New RPC URL" to a new one as listed above, save the change.

4. There is a novel RPC aggregator service from that you can use by entering "https://polygon-rpc.com/" in the "New RPC URL". The RPC aggregator function can automatically switch RPC node or re-broadcast your request. Read their service detail here

RPC aggregator is the ultimate solution for potential Polygon network congestion now.
